Dr Padgham and Partners are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive GMS practice covering 9,100 patients in Crowborough. Crowborough is situated on the edge of Ashdown Forest, in the High Weald Area of Outstanding National Beauty 7 miles south-west of Royal Tunbridge Wells and 35 miles south of London, with excellent road and rail links.
We have a part time Nurse Practitioner, two part time Practice Nurses and one, very experienced Health Care Assistant. Due to our Nurse Practitioner leaving, a vacancy has arisen for 28 hours per week. The days of the week required are all day Monday, all day Tuesday, Thursday morning and Friday morning. There are also additional hours available over the next year as we have maternity leave to cover. We would also consider job share for the right candidates.
The successful applicant would need to be qualified to provide all services required in general practice including, cervical screening, child immunisations, sexual health, travel immunisations, wound care and chronic disease management. The candidate would also be required to complete the training required to administer the Yellow Fever vaccine if not already qualified.
We are a friendly, professional team who love what we do and are proud of the high levels of care we provide. There are 4 GP Partners, 2 salaried GPs and we are a training practice used to providing professional support and guidance. We currently have 2 trainee GPs with a registrar joining us in August.
Salary is competitive and based on experience
