Practice Management

Mr Pete Sims (m)

Practice Manager BSc (Hons) Business and Management

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Pete has worked in the NHS since 2005 after working for Royal Mail for 19 years. He has worked in many different organisations but has found Practice Management to be the most demanding but rewarding role. Having managed several Practices, he is now settled at Saxonbury and along with the team looks forward to several years focused on providing the very best care for all patients in the area. He was born and still lives in Hastings, East Sussex with his wife and children. The daily journey provides a much welcomed escape from the many interesting questions his children can think up!
